Statuses recommended at IMO TWOM Wiki :
For warrior :
Option A |
Option B |
In my opinion, my character AidenJace and SpenceJane statuses is quite similar like the one recommended in Option B. However, as you can see in these two pictures, the skill points is totally imbalance. Why?
Option A - Strength is higher than Constitution. The damage by the warrior may increase, however there will not be sufficient health points(HP). Remember, a warrior needs good armory and weaponry, ONLY THEN their attacks is damaging and even better. As a beginner, you will only be provided with a rusty sword, and the amount of your Armor is only 1. What is the point in spending too much on strength when your health point is not enough? There may be possibility that your warrior might died even before he/she kill mobs on the same level as your character. Dexterity is also ignored. What, your warrior might be freaking strong, but he/she attacks, the mobs "missed" the attacks. Its like, "Dude, I'm in front of you, why are you punching the air instead of my face?!". LOL. xD Oh...you might not stand too long in P v P(Battlefield) and you have to spend too much on healing potions...not to mention you have to have freaking good armory to protect your warrior, meaning spending too much golds on armory too! ( O ___ o )
Option B - Constitution is higher than strength. This status is quite similar to the one that i suggested in my tutorial on warrior previously. I think this is much better than the status found in Option A, but still, this status have the flaws. Why? Look at the way skill was spent on Constitution and strength. Its imbalance! What is the point getting more HP, when your warrior is not strong enough in his/her attacks???! I was like WTF..... ( - ____ - ) And....and...dexterity was ignored again ( O ___ o ) LOL. Dexterity will not be that important, but for me it is for focusing the attack made by your warrior. Your warrior is making attacks when they are near the target, so the more focus the strike, the better. OMG...Make your research peeps with other games that have similar concept like TWOM! (Dragon Nest, Eden Eternal etc...)
Next, lets look at the status recommended for mage in IMO TWOM Wiki:
Status for a magician recommended by IMO TWOM Wiki
I was laughing my azz off when I saw this recommendation. LOL. All skill points were spent on Intelligence and Wisdom only. ( - _____ - ) Dude, i have asked my friend to try this before, and he told me that his character's HP is soooooooooooo low...as in very low, and the MP, on the other hand are too much. He complained that his mage is very weak. I was like, LOL the whole day. Okay, I do admit that MP is more important for mage, but I wouldnt risk my mage to be so vulnerable until she cannot kill mobs on the same level or 1-2 levels higher than her current level! That is why i told you guys in the previous tutorial for mage, as a mage, everything must be balance. You should let your mage have more MP, but not too much until there is no room for HP. If a warrior is on a battle with you, you will die easily. As in die very easily. LOL. You have to remember, your skills have certain time for cooling time. If a warrior or ranger is stronger than you, one hit, and you will directly K.O, before you even use all your over-amounted MP. I'm serious people.
( O , o ) Just balance off the remaining statuses(Strength, Dexterity and Constitution) even though this will not help much on your mage. Strength - at least your mage is not so weak, he or she can deal with some of the damage. Dexterity - Focus, damage by your magic skills will be better. Constitution - contribute a little on your mage's Health Point.
NOTE: If you think you have made a mistake in spending your skill points in the first place, there are ways to overcome it. You can increase your MP by buying MP scrolls and enchant it on your armor. The same goes to HP. Now, if i am not mistaken, you can increase your statuses by using potions. You can purchase it via the Shop(if you have enough Platinum) or from BT. When upgrading to a new armor or weapon, look at the status. Weapons for warrior - go for those that supports Strength to increase your damage in attacks, HP can be found in most armors - Cloaks, Hats and jewelleries. =)
So peeps, your first time creating your character is important, correct? So, spend your skill points wisely to help your character in the game itself. See ya in the next post! xD
warrior do not need DEX as their weapon and glove have extra Hit rate. at lv13 you can easily get a 5hr+ stu.glove, and later Hr on weapons. somewhere around 10-15hr would be enough to train on mobs 4-5lvs higher than you.
ReplyDeletefor STR vs CON, i'd say CON. str are easier to get than hp on equips.
for mage, you need highest INT and WIS. INT add your healing amount and your hellfire damage. WIS must be maxed as mage burn mp a lot.
with mage's control skills: a stun, two ice and a FEAR. you do not need much hp.
Hello there, yes I get what you mean. However, in my case i just increase +1 DEX, because it does affect my warrior's hitrate. The status in Wiki is a suggestion, same as mine here. Anyone can have statuses other than what is being suggested in Wiki. :) Yes, my status is also focusing on CON rather than strength, and it appears tht my warrior's status is more stable than wht was suggested in wiki. For your information, I did mention in my previous post that the status can be corrected using potions, or simply just upgrade your weapons and armors. ^^
DeleteSecondly, the same thing goes to my mage's status. The reason why I increase my HP, is because I do not want my mage to be sooo weak. So I decided to change a bit with my mage's status, by increasing the HP. As a result, my mage's status is stable, not too weak, but still focuses more on INT and WIS. Again, if you do not like my status suggestion, you can correct it by using potions, scrolls, armory and weapons. ^^ No status is wrong, the reason I did this comparison is because I have my own way to modified the stats, and because I have played lots of online game other than this, since the concept is more or less the same. So if you are more comfortable with the statuses recommended in Wiki, then go ahead. :)
DeleteFayth, I follow your status suggestion for mage. Its pretty okay, the amount of mana and my hp is balance...is it suppsed to be tht way??
ReplyDeleteHello there, yes it is supposed to be that way, but you still have more mana than HP right? Don't worry, you will do fine. ^^ and don't forget to store a lot of Dongryu juice in your storage.
DeleteI followed the wiki status suggestion instead. Its true, as a mage you need more mana than HP, but it appears tht my mage is very weak. Now that fayth alredi adressed this, I guess my next character I will follow your stats suggestion, fayth. Thanks anyway
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Rebecca! Hope you enjoy playing the game! ^^ i cannot guarantee that my stats will make your mage stronger, it also depends on skills and the armor with equipment you use.
Deleteive made 3 warriors str lvl 32 and con lvl 19 and i rarely ever miss my attacks ever. i made a dex warrior lvl 18 now and it made ABSOLUTELY no difference. Literally no difference at all.
ReplyDeleteHello De Be, i don't really know about that, but I did one character focusing on CON, following the recommendations on Wiki, I do noticed that my warrior is so slow on hitting the mobs, it only gets better with weapons that I got for Him...you may think that there is no difference, but look back, and think, why do you think weapons for warriors have hitrate( well, strength too)? for accuracy of course, so that when hitting it hits the mob. well this is my honest opinion anyway. :) anndd....to be honest, there is no DEX warrior....warrior needs more HP and Strength, but not TOO MUCH DEX. in my stats suggestion, I only stated that you ONLY add 1 or 2 points to DEX, making your warrior's hitrate even better...aannnnnd you making a DEX warrior is an absolute nonsense, even if you are doing that to prove me wrong. Well, thank you. :)
DeleteWoah...a DEX warrior? That would be cool though. Lol...and Fayth, i guess you should post new articles or update this post...maybe put up some new vids if you want to prove your
ReplyDeletepoint. So far, i've made a warr using your guide, and i would say, he is doing fine. I'll get back to you about his hitrate, and if, like you said, the DEX helps him with hitrate, then i'll tell. Gonna experiment.
Hello dear! Firstly, I am so sorry for not updating this blog for so looooooooong...I am extremely busy...and time is not on my side. Well, I will do my best about this post sometimes in the future, as everybody seems to be a bit sceptic about my Warrior and Mage status. Its okay, everyone is entitled to give their opinion. But, I do know that my status is not perfect, but good enough to be a good warrior and mage. It might be different, since I have done a few tweaks, and I have even given them the reasons, so worry not, there will be nothing wrong with your warrior and mage, if you follow my stats. Okay...huhu...happy gaming and enjoy! ^_^
DeleteThis is so cool my war has a str of 28 looking to buy two str scrolls :) but might buy one Dex too but xFMGSIMBAx on Dev server I'm a lvl 24
ReplyDeleteAlso how do I level faster ?
ReplyDeleteAnd what equips should I use cause I have black armor skull shield katana intense hat ect .... Don't feel like he hits hard enough cause they said u only see a difference everytime your str goes up 3
